Weir’s Beach, BC

We had stormy weather last night, but a beautiful sunrise awaited us. Our situation allows for a full view of the ocean and the distant shadow of the Olympic Mountains across the strait. The Victoria harbor skyline is visible far away. Nearby rocky shores line the coast, and massive logs have washed up on the sand surrounded by piles of sea grass, seaweed and kelp. All the visible beauty is accompanied by the unbroken sounds of the waves and seagulls just a few yards away. Duggy our Dungeness Crab met a friend in Port Angeles and asked him to join us. Our new traveler is a colorful Living Crab named Lively. They surely love the beach!!
