Move That Bush!

Gardening with Lucy for the day, aka take your sister to work for the day. Five adults, many tools, crowbars, a mini-excavator, some old tarps and a plastic toboggan were required to dig up and move a well-established rhododendron. The plant survived intact and so did all the adults. We capped off the event with freshly homemade scones and homemade blackberry jam and tea. Doesn’t get any better, except for the hot tub therapy for Lucy and a long hot shower for this old lady. We’re not spring chickens any more. But, I’m so glad to make such a memory!
